Anvil Mountain Correctional Center Mission

The mission of Anvil Mountain Correctional Center, a Level II facility within the Department of Corrections, is to protect the public, recognize and protect victim's rights, provide a safe and healthy environment for staff and inmates alike while promoting reformation and providing housing and services in a fiscally responsible manner.

AMCC protects the public by housing minimum, medium, close, and maximum custody male and female sentenced and unsentenced inmates in a secure setting with supervision consistent with their custody and security level.

AMCC recognizes the rights of victims by ensuring proper victim notification of inmate events as required by state law.

AMCC ensures a secure, safe, sanitary, and healthy environment by supervising inmates and adhering to Department of Corrections policies and procedures.
